1. If the following conditions occur on the bottom surface of the cylinder head, repair is required:
① Warping.
② Pits, grooves.
③ Gas, coolant, and oil leaks caused by the cylinder head.
2. The planarity of the cylinder head bottom surface for the B series engine is:

Exceeds requirements, repair is required.
3. Check the cylinder head height. If the height of the repaired cylinder head cannot be guaranteed to be greater than 93.75mm, the cylinder head has no repair value.
4. A milling machine or grinding machine can be used to repair the bottom surface. The diameter of the grinding wheel or milling cutter should be greater than 200mm, and it should cover the entire bottom width of the cylinder head.
5. The surface roughness of the cylinder head bottom surface should be less than 3.2um.
6. Planarity of the repaired bottom surface:

7. After the bottom surface is repaired, the valve seating depth is within 0.99~1.52mm. Otherwise, the valve seat needs to be ground or inlaid.
